A light sensor switch module detects ambient light levels and outputs a digital signal to control devices or microcontrollers based on a set light threshold.

Overview

A light sensor switch module is an electronic component that senses the brightness of the surrounding environment and provides a digital ON/OFF output when the light intensity crosses a preset threshold. Common modules use either a photoresistor (LDR) or a photodiode combined with a comparator like the LM393 to convert analog light changes into a clean digital signal .

How It Works
